Lead notifications

When a visitor submits the chat contact form, a recap email is sent with the full conversation, lead rating, and division. Leave recipients blank to use the lead notification email from Site Settings.

Outgoing mail for contact form and chat leads. Each form’s notification recipients are configured in Forms. Chat lead recaps use the recipients configured in Chatbot settings. Site Settings lead email is the fallback when a form has no recipients.

Bust & publish updates asset versions in all HTML and deploys to the live site (when PUBLIC_SITE_ROOT is configured). Bust locally only updates files in this workspace. Clear data caches resets the analytics report cache in admin.

Admin database is the source of truth. Save writes to MariaDB and immediately bakes snippets into the live public site (HTML View Source + /data/settings.json). GTM head code goes in Header (before </head>); GTM noscript goes in Body (right after <body>); other scripts can use Footer. Form conversion tags should listen for the custom event cw_form_submitted on Google Ads landings only (/get-hvac-quote/, /get-plumbing-quote/ — not organic contact forms). Delete any GTM Custom HTML tag that uses jQuery/Elementor. Do not put client tracking IDs in Git. After deploy cw, custom code is restored from the admin DB automatically.

Google Reviews display

Control how reviews look on the site. Connection and sync live under Site Settings → Google Business Profile.

Form recipients are stored in the live database. They are not overwritten by git deploys or the hourly site-cache auto-bust.

Edit form

Each form needs a unique ID (used in the hidden form_type field) and a display name. The default contact form uses ID contact. Google Ads landings use googleadsform2 (/get-hvac-quote/) and googleadsformplumbing (/get-plumbing-quote/) — renaming a form ID updates embedded pages automatically and will not duplicate the old ID.

Form deliverability

Form notification recipients are stored in the live database. Saving Forms updates MariaDB only — git pushes and settings.json restores must not change them. If a recipient flips after a deploy, open About and confirm the git commit includes the form-persistence fix, then restart the Node admin app.
